FAQ
Before you book.
If something isn't covered here, just call the clinic — we're glad to help.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No — physiotherapists are primary care practitioners in Ontario. Some extended health plans may require a referral for reimbursement, so it's worth checking with your insurer.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing that allows free movement and easy access to the area we're assessing.
What should I bring?
Any referral letter you may have, a current list of medications, and clothing suited to movement-based assessment.
How long is the first visit?
Plan for about an hour. Follow-up treatments are typically 30–45 minutes.
Are follow-up visits shorter?
Yes — most follow-up treatments are 30–45 minutes depending on what's being treated.
Can returning clients book treatment directly?
If you're returning for the same condition within the last three months, often yes. After three months, a reassessment may be required.
Is online physiotherapy available?
Yes. Online assessments and treatments are available for people who can't attend in person — though some hands-on treatments can't be provided online.
Do you direct-bill insurance?
Please confirm with the clinic when booking. We're happy to provide receipts for submission to your benefits provider.
Is the clinic accessible?
Yes. We have an accessible ramp at the rear entrance, an automatic door, an accessible washroom and a barrier-free ground floor.
