Questions, answered.
The things patients most often ask before their first visit.
Read the full first-visit FAQ →Do I need a doctor's referral?
No — physiotherapists are primary care practitioners. Some insurance plans may still require a referral for reimbursement, so check with your provider.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing that allows movement and access to the area we're assessing.
How long is the first visit?
Approximately one hour. Follow-up treatments are typically 30–45 minutes.
Can returning clients book treatment directly?
If it's the same condition within the last three months, a new assessment may not be needed. After three months, a reassessment is often required.
Is online physiotherapy available?
Yes. Online appointments are available for people who can't attend the clinic, though some hands-on treatments cannot be provided virtually.
